As part of its 21st anniversary, Mysore Yoga Okkuta has organised Bhagavad Gita recitation competition for school students on Dec. 18 at 9 am at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara, Nanjumalige Circle, Lakshmipuram in city. The competition will be conducted in Nursery, Primary, Higher Primary, High School categories for both girls and boys.

Students participating in nursery category (LKG and UKG) will have to recite shlokas 7 to 12 from the first chapter; 1st and 2nd std. students – shlokas 9 to 16 from third chapter; 3rd and 4th std. – shlokas 1 to 10 from fourth chapter; 5th and 6th std. – shlokas 11 to 20 from fifth chapter; 7th and 8th std. – shlokas 11 to 25 from sixth chapter; 9th and 10th std. – shlokas 1 to 20 from twelfth chapter.
