Go.Ru.Cha Inter-College Light Music contests on Nov. 29

Rotary Mysore North has organised Go.Ru.Cha Inter-College Light Music contests 2024-25 on Nov.29 at  11 am at Rotary Bhavan, Vijayanagar Railway Layout in the city.

For the last 26 years, Rotary North has been organising Go.Ru.Cha Inter-College Light Music Contests after Go.Ru. Channabasappa (Go.Ru.Cha), the folk expert and Honorary Advisor to Kannada Sahitya Parishat, to encourage talented youths.

The competitions will be conducted in the categories of Bhavageethe, folk songs and film songs. The winners will be given first, second, third and consolation prizes, along with the participation certificates. The College that secures highest points from the three categories will be given overall trophy.

The Principals of respective Colleges can send either two male students or female students for the competition.
