Mysore/Mysuru:  Miscreants have lifted gold ornaments from a woman’s vanity bag in a city bus on Apr. 10.

The woman, who lost her jewels, is 45-year-old Bhagya, a resident of Raghavendranagar.

Bhagya, who arrived from H.D. Kote with her daughter, boarded City Bus No. 161 near Sub-urban Bus Stand at about 6.45 pm and alighted near Kendriya Vidyalaya in Raghavendranagar.

When she checked her vanity bag, she found two bangles weighing 24 grams missing and lodged a complaint at Nazarbad Police Station. Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
