Gold chain snatched in city

Mysore/Mysuru: Chain snatchers have snatched the gold mangalya chain of a woman on New Kantharaj Urs Road in city on Dec. 5.

The woman, who lost her gold chain is 38-year-old Chaya, a resident of Anikethana Road in Kuvempunagar here. She was proceeding on her scooter (KA-09-EV-5439) at about 9.20 pm between Vijaya Bank Circle and Kavitha Bakery on New Kantharaj Urs Road, when two miscreants, who came on a bike from behind, yanked off her 40 grams gold chain and sped away.

A case has been registered at Kuvempunagar Police Station.
