Gold chain snatched in city

Mysuru:  Bike-borne miscreants have snatched a part of the gold chain from a woman who was standing in front of a shop at Sathagalli here on Sunday.

The woman who lost a part of her gold chain has been identified as Rukmini, a resident of Sathagalli.

It is learnt that Rukmini, on Sunday evening was standing in front of a shop when two persons on a Apache bike tried to yank off her gold chain. As Rukmini held her chain tightly, the miscreants have managed to flee with a part of the gold chain weighing about 15 grams.

Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
