Gold chain snatched near Lalitha Mahal

Mysuru: Two scooter borne miscreants have snatched a gold chain of a woman who was riding pillion with her husband on a bike near Lalitha Mahal Palace here on Dec. 30.

The woman whose chain was snatched has been identified as Prema. Prema, along with her husband was going near Laitha Mahal Palace, when two persons on a Honda Activa scooter, who came from behind snatched the 40 grams gold mangalasutra she was wearing and sped away.

A complaint has been lodged at Alanahalli Police Station in this regard.
