Gold, silver burgled from house

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house at Manasagangothri Quarters, have made away with gold ornaments and silver articles kept in the house.

The theft took place at Quarters No. 36, allotted to 45-year-old Chaluvesh, an Assistant at the Horticulture Department of Mysore University.

On Jan. 26, Chaluvesh and his family members went to their native place Mylanayakanahalli village and when they returned on Jan. 29 night, they found the door open and on inspecting the house, they found 6 grams gold ornaments and 1 kg silver articles missing.

Jayalakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
