Gopal Khare passes away

Gopal Khare, (67), retd. South Western Railway (SWR) employee, passed away at his residence in Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, early this morning due to illness.

Gopal Khare, a former State athlete (Hurdler), was the Treasurer of the Mysore District Athletic Association (MDAA) and also was the sports-in-charge office, Mysuru Division, SWR, during his service. He leaves behind a son, a daughter, and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this evening.
