Bengaluru: In a key decision, the State Government on Monday annulled the nominations to all Boards, Coprorations and other Government-run Authorities/Agencies of the State, which were made by the previous BJP Government.

Following a direction from Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, the nominations to Boards and Corporations have been annulled with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, the Kannada and Culture Department has cancelled all sorts of nominations made to the Academies coming under the Department, Rangayanas  etc., with immediate effect.
