Government offices in city to have Help Desk Kiosk

July 11, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: With no signs as yet of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic abating, DC Abhiram G. Sankar has ordered establishment of an Help Desk Kiosk at all Government offices in the district, as a measure to check the spread of the virus.

Noting that Government offices are high public contact areas, the DC said that the setting up of the Kiosk was necessary for preventing public contact as far as possible.

Pointing out that the Kiosk will be a facilitation centre for accepting public grievances, applications or other records, he appealed the public to stay away from visiting Government offices for minor things or issues and also to follow lockdown regulations including wearing of facemask, use of hand sanitisers and maintenance of physical distancing among others.
