June 25, 2017

Bengaluru: Governor Vajubhai R. Vala has accepted the resignation submitted by Dr. G. Parameshwar for the post of Home Minister.

Infact, Parameshwara had submitted his resignation well before the commencement of Assembly Monsoon Session. However, CM Siddharamaiah had forwarded the resignation letter of Parameshwara only on Friday.

As Parameshwara had continued as KPCC President, heeding to the direction of Congress high command, he quit the post of Home Minister.

However the CM had retained Parameshwara in his position till the Monsoon Assembly Session was over.
