Mysore/Mysuru: Various programmes have been organised as part of ninth International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations at Government Nature Cure and Yoga Medical College, Mysuru, under the leadership of its Principal Dr. Gajanana Hegde, as per the guidelines of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

On  June 12 at 7 am, MLA K. Harishgowda will inaugurate a Yoga Camp in the premises of the Hospital, when the public and students will perform Mass Suryanamaskara to mark the  inaugural session.

Awareness will be created among the general public on treating various diseases by Yoga and treatment of outpatients by Yoga depending on the ailment, for nine days from June 12 to 20.

Organising Secretaries Dr. D.S. Bharateesh and Dr. S. Suma and Organising Members Dr. V. Bharat Chandra, Dr. R. Lakshmi and Arshiya Anjum will be present.
