GP Employees Convention on Aug. 31

The Mysuru District-level Convention of CITU affiliated Karnataka State Gram Panchayat (GP) Employees Association will be held at Vidyabharathi Kalyana Mantap near Gun House  in the city at 11 am tomorrow (Aug. 31). The Association State President M.B. Nadagouda will inaugurate the convention, which is expected to discuss hike in wages, filling up of vacancies and gratuity for retired employees, among other issues.

The convention is a prelude to the 2-day State-level Convention to take place at Yadgir on Sept.12 and 13. For details, contact Ph: 0821- 2426082, according to a press release.
