GRAAM Executive Director to speak at National Rural Management Conclave in Bhubaneswar

Mysuru: Dr. Basavaraju R. Shreshta, Executive Director of Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM), Mysuru, has been invited as a distinguished panellist for the 7th National Rural Management Conclave.

The event is scheduled to take place on Aug. 22 at the Campus-17 Auditorium, KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The Conclave brings together thought leaders, development practitioners and policymakers to deliberate on the central theme, “Reimagining Rural India: Innovations, Sustainability and Inclusive Growth.”

Dr. Basavaraju Shreshta will represent GRAAM in the core panel discussion focusing on transforming rural landscapes through grassroots innovations, policy advocacy, community inclusion and sustainable models.

The flagship event will commence with a keynote address by Rajendra Singh (Jalpurush – The Waterman of India, Ramon Magsaysay Awardee and Chairman of Tarun Bharat Sangh).

Dr. Basavaraju will be joined on the panel by prominent leaders across the civil society, development and social enterprise sectors.

Following the morning panel and civic leader felicitation sessions, Dr. Basavaraju and fellow panellists will engage in an interactive session with MBA students of Rural Management and Agribusiness Management at KSRM.

This interaction aims to inspire young minds and discuss real-world insights into rural governance, social enterprise, and grassroots development.

GRAAM is a think-and-act tank working towards sustainable development through evidence-based research, community engagement, and strategic policy interventions across India.
