Mysuru: Amrita University, Mysuru Campus, celebrated Graduation Day at its premises recently.

Guest of honour D. Randeep, Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru District, addressed the gathering and enlightened the graduates about the various modes of challenges in life after they step out from the College.

Chief guest Madhuri Thathachari, Managing Trustee, Bhramara Trust, addressing the graduates, explained the importance of humility in youngster’s attitude as they are the future of the world.

Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amrithandamayi Math, delivered the benedictory address where he expressed that universe itself is University where everything can be learnt only by possessing the beginner’s attitude to be successful in life.

Guest of honour Prof. Vijay E. Menon, IAS, IPS and IFS training panellist, was also present.

Mysuru campus bagged 4 gold and 5 Silver medals with 13 ranks. In total, 242 students (both PG and UG) received their degrees during the graduation ceremony. The alumni meet followed the Graduation Day celebrations. More than 150 alumni members participated and exchanged goodwill.
