‘Arjunam Bhaje’ book and CD released

Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Girija Kalyana Mahotsava,’ a special  prayer and ritual ceremony for global welfare, was held in a grand manner at Sri Vidyashankara Kalyana Mantapa near Gun House in Khille Mohalla here on Feb.14. 

The event was organised by Swarna Nrusimha Datta Sai Peethika Seva Trust, Sonar Street.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji, Managing Director of BGS and SGB Educational Institutions  and Hospitals, said that  although he had seen Seetha Kalyana, he had only heard about Girija Kalyana. But now, he got an opportunity to witness Girija Kalyana and he is thankful to Arjun Guruji for giving him that opportunity.

Hirisave Sri Sai Siddashrama Founder Gurumurthy Guruji, in his address, thanked Arjun Guruji for organising Girija Kalyana in such a grand manner and also complimented the devotees who extended their co-operation for making the event a huge success.

Arjun Guruji, who graced the occasion, said that the Trust will be conducting more such programmes for global welfare.

‘Arjunam Bhaje’, a book and CD  containing Bhajans and Shlokas of  Arjun Guruji was released at the event which was attended by District Minister S.T. Somashekar, Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister K.C. Narayanagowda, former Minister C.H. Vijayashankar, MyLac Chairman N.V. Paneesh, Dr. Vaman Rao Bapat, industrialist  M.K. Pothraj, former MLA Maruthi Rao Pawar and a host of other dignitaries.

‘Pada Puja’ was performed to seven women  staff of Shankar Mutt on the occasion.
