Mysuru: Kanakadasa Jayanti, scheduled on Nov. 6, will be a grand affair. This was decided in the preliminary meeting headed by MLA M.K. Somashekar at the Kaginele Mutt, Mysuru Branch, at Siddarthanagar, here yesterday.

The procession will be flagged off from Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple in which cultural troupes, tableaux will take part and a grand event will be held at Kalamandira. Before culminating at Kalamandira, the procession will pass through K.R. Circle, New Sayyaji Rao Road, Chamaraja Double Road and JLB Road.

Kanakadasa Jayanti Sub-Committee Executive Member Bank Puttaswamy, Chowhalli Puttaswamy, Vice-President Mahadevappa and Treasurer Nagaraju were present.
