‘Samskritotsava’ prize winners

Mysuru: As part of Samskritotsava, Pramati Hill View Academy had organised its 11th year S.N. Balachandra Memorial Inter-school Sanskrit competitions here recently. Dr. T.V. Satyanarayana, Retired Deputy Director, Oriental Research Institute (ORI), inaugurated the event. Hundreds of students took part in various competitions. The winners are as follows:

Gita recitation:  Preetham (1st prize) – BVB school, Bhargavi (2nd)- Amrita Vidyalayam and Aadya Murthy (3rd)- Acharya Vidya Kula.

Subhasitha: Surabhi (1st)- Maharshi Public School,   Anargya (2nd) – Maharshi Public School and Anusha (3rd) Kautilya Vidyalaya.

Samooha Gayana:  Maharshi School  (1st), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (2nd) and Amrita Vidyalayam (3rd).

Quiz: Jayachamarajendra  PU College (1st), Vidyavardhaka PU College (2nd) and Amrita Vidyalayam (3rd).

Drama: Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra (1st), Amrita Vidyalayam (2nd) and Maharshi School (3rd).
