Grand Veena-Violin Programme at Ganabharathi on Mar. 29

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Veena-Violin programme by Vidu. Dr. S.V. Sahana on veena and Vid. A.P. Srinivas on violin on Mar. 29 at 6 pm in memory of Dr. R. Sundarachar and Saraswathi Rao at Veene Seshanna Bhavan on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar.

They will be accompanied by Vid. Arjun Kumar on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujan on ghata.

Vid. Srinivas, who has extensive experience of providing accompaniment to many senior and junior artistes, is today a leading violinist. He is an ‘A’ graded artiste of All India Radio and a sound engineer by profession.

Vidu. Sahana is a young talent who has made her mark in the field of music and has received several awards, including the recent Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar.

Together with her husband Vid. Srinivas, she has successfully conducted various musical experiments with their Naad Ninad team. Their ‘V Duo’ has captivated music enthusiasts.
