May 8, 2022

Nanjangud: The bride and groom are the main attraction at any wedding. However, here is a wedding which took place in Nanjangud taluk where all the eyes were on the groom’s father at the wedding.

Groom Dr. Yathish, a MD student at JSS Ayurveda College, Mysuru, had created the replica of his father Ramesh, of Ajjampur in Kadur taluk of Chikkamagalur district, who had passed away last year due to COVID-19.

Dr. Yathish, as an honour and tribute, got made a life-like wax statue of his deceased father. The wax statue of Ramesh was placed next to the groom’s mother throughout the wedding vows which had all the eyes of the invited guests.

Dr. Yathish’s wedding is fixed with one Dr. Apoorva, a resident of Melkundi village in Nanjangud taluk which was held at Santhana Ganapathi Kalyana Mantapa in the taluk this morning.
