Group ransacks hospital after man’s death

Mysuru:  In a reported incident, a group of people ransacked a city hospital after a man died of illness at the hospital on Oct.1. In a complaint lodged with Alanahalli Police, Dr. Anand of Cauvery Hospital in Siddarthanagar, said, a patient by name Preetham, who was being treated at the ICU, died on Oct.1 after failing to respond to the treatment. But some persons by name Vishwas, Suhas, Nasrulla and Rajesh, claiming to be the deceased Preetham’s friends, barged into the hospital and ransacked a part of the hospital, besides assaulting the on-duty doctor and other staff.
