Mysore/Mysuru: GRS Fantasy Park, Mysuru, has won two National Awards at the prestigious National Amusement Awards ceremony held recently at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
Hosted by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), the awards recognised GRS Fantasy Park’s excellence in the following two categories: “Events at Park” and “Innovative Digital Marketing.”
IAAPI is an apex body representing the interests of Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Water Parks and Indoor Amusement Centres in India.
Ashwin Dange, Director and Business Head and Balakrishna Kini, Operations Head, received the honours on behalf of the Park. GRS Fantasy Park was lauded for its inventive digital marketing strategies, notably its adept use of social media and influencer engagement to bolster its brand presence. This marks the Park’s second consecutive win in the “Innovation in Digital Marketing” category.
The Park’s diverse range of events, catering to both visitors and staff, earned it recognition in the ‘Events at Park’ category. GRS organised a wide variety of events throughout the year, including the GRS Summer Carnival, GRS Dazzling Dasara and GRS Winner Carnival. Not only did GRS host events for visitors, but it also organised activities for its staff, such as week-long games and fun activities during their 24th anniversary and celebrated festivals like Sankranti, Dasara, Diwali and Christmas.
Looking ahead, GRS Fantasy Park and GRS Snow Park are gearing up for the summer season with the introduction of several new rides. Among the highlights is a thrilling new spin ride at GRS Fantasy Park, complemented by renovations and upgrades across the premises.
GRS Snow Park has enhanced its slide systems to offer visitors an even more exhilarating experience.
