Mysuru:  GRS Fantasy Park had organised the finals of GRS Mega Talent Star – 2018 at Jaganmohan Palace here recently.

Finalists from all across Karnataka competed in various competitions like Solo Dance, Solo Singing and Drawing/Painting.

Dayananda Kudva, M. Manjunath Nayak and Yogesh Dange, Directors of GRS Fantasy Park, inaugurated the event. M. Ashwin Dange, Business Head and Balakrishna Kini, Head of Operations, were present at the prize distribution.

The competitions were held in two rounds. In the preliminary digital round, talented students submitted 2-minute videos of their performances via WhatsApp platform. A team of judges selected the most deserving students.

In the preliminary rounds over 5,000 students from 368 schools of class 1 to class 10 participated. In all, 78 students received the prizes. The “Most Talented School Award – 2018” was won by Pramati Hillview Academy for highest participation and highest number of prizes in the mega event.

Winners of Solo Dance

Class 1: 1st prize- Lehar Deepuraju, St. Arnold’s Central School; 2nd prize- Saathwik K. Bhat, Podar International School; 3rd  prize – K.M. Shashwathi, Kautilya Vidyalaya.

Class 2: 1st prize- H.R. Charithrya, KNC Innovative Global School; 2nd prize- M. Yashica, Swargarani School; 3rd prize- Yashaswi G. Raj, Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Class 3: 1st prize- H.R. Theeksha Bharuni, Vidya Vardhaka Sangha; 2nd prize- Abhay Krishna, Kautilya Vidyalaya; 3rd prize- A. Varshini, KNC Innovative Global School.

Class 4:1st prize- P. Gagan Lad, CFTRI School; 2nd prize- B.A. Aishni Bojamma, St. Rossello School; 3rd prize- Punya, Pushpa Education Institute.

Class 5:1st prize- S. Sougandhika, CFTRI School; 2nd prize- Suhana Mohammadi, St. Anne’s Convent; 3rd prize-S. Sameeksha, St. Joseph’s Central School.

Class 6: 1st prize- T.V. Himanth, Maharshi Public School; 2nd prize- B. Prajay Anil, KNC Innovative Global School; 3rd prize- D. Abhay Datta, Maharshi Public School.

Class 7: 1st prize- Y. Mayur, Marimallappa’s Higher Primary School; 2nd prize- Sneha Shekar, Kautilya Vidyalaya; 3rd prize- Amulya Narayan, Christ Public School.

Class 8: 1st prize- K. Akshay, Mysore West Lions Sevaniket`an School; 2nd prize – Ariba Khan, St.Joseph’s High School; 3rd prize- R. Rakshitha, Sri Chayadevi Vidyanikethana Trust.

Class 9: 1st prize- L.S. Sinchana, Teresian Convent Girls High School; 2nd prize- Punya V. Gowda, Sadvidya High School; 3rd prize- H.D. Divyashree, St. Joseph’s High School.

Class10:1st prize- N. Prajwal, Daisy Convent; 2nd prize- S. Poorvi, Rotary Midtown Academy; 3rd prize- H.R. Mithun, Christ Public School.

Solo Singing

Class 1: 1st prize- Lehar Deepuraju, St. Arnold’s Central School; 2nd prize- R. Kinisha, Amrita Vidyalaya; 3rd prize- Saathvik Vishwanath, Manasa Sarovara Pushkarni.
