GSSSIETW ties up with RobotGuru

Mysuru: Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), KRS Road, Metagalli, Mysuru has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RobotGuru, Mysuru, on Apr.24. The signing of MoU was organised by the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (E&IE). The MoU has been signed to motivate and support the students and to enhance their skills and knowledge for technical upgradation, innovation and competitiveness in the field of robotics.

The MoU was signed by Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, and Sivakumar Subramanian, Partner, RobotGuru, in the presence of  R.K. Bharath, CEO and Management Committee Member, GSSSIETW, Harsha, Director, RobotGuru, Mysuru, Dr. Venkatratnam Chitturi, Associate Professor & Head, Department of E&IE, GSSSIETW,Mysuru.

RobotGuru seeks to teach robotics in an integrated manner interweaving hardware and software. It focuses on fundamental principles and underlying core technologies like 3D sensing, speech processing, RGBD sensors, Gesture processes and Person tracking. This pioneer in education is a brainchild of innovative experts in the field of robotics who have over 28 patents in US, Europe and Japan. The team has extensive experience in building and programming award-winning consumer and industrial robots apart from mentoring various start-ups in Silicon Valley. RobotGuru, is engaged in Business, Manufacturing, Skill Development, Education and R&D Services in the fields of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Drones and related fields. It trains the student on the emerging technologies in order to bridge the skill gap and make them industry ready, through workshops and final year projects.
