Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of various demands which chiefly included announcement of a COVID package for guest teachers and job security, guest teachers under the banner of All India Save education Committee (AISEC), will stage a Statewide online protest tomorrow (June 6). 

In a press release, the AISEC said that many guest teachers are serving at schools coming under the Department of Public Instructions, Social Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department and Minorities Welfare Department for years.

Pointing out that most of the guest teachers are serving in rural areas, it said that due to COVID crisis, the teachers have run into financial problems and are also facing the threat of job loss.

In such a critical situation, the Government must come to the rescue of teachers by announcing an exclusive financial package, the release said.
