Guests steal gold jewellery from house

Mysuru: A woman from Kuvempunagar has lodged a complaint with the Police accusing two guests, who visited her house recently, of stealing gold jewellery.

Chandrika, a resident of Navilu road in Kuvempunagar, in her complaint lodged with Kuvempunagar Police has accused her friends from Belagavi Meena and Bharath, who had stayed in her house as guests for a couple of days recently, of stealing more than 100 gms of gold jewellery and Rs. 50,000 cash kept in her house.

Chandrika further said that her another friend Shobha had kept the gold jewellery and cash for safety at her (Chandrika) residence and the theft came to light when Shobha asked her to give back the jewellery.
