Gujarat poll results tomorrow: BJP members climb Chamundi Hill, offer prayers

December 17, 2017

Mysuru: With the counting of votes cast in Gujarat Assembly election to begin tomorrow, about 50 members of City BJP Wing climbed Chamundi Hill this morning and offered puja to Goddess Chamuneshwari at the temple atop the Hill for BJP to emerge victorious.

The climb was launched by City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath. He expressed confidence in BJP winning the polls going by the national importance gained by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP leader H.G. Giridhar, Madhu, Jogi Manju, Ananda, Jagadish and others were present.

Now people are left to wonder how the Goddess can grant the prayers of devotees at this stage when the votes are already cast unless there is a major snag in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) favouring the BJP.
