Guruvandana and book release programme on Dec. 18

In commemoration of Natya Vidushi Krishnaveni Rangarao, the city’s Mysore Art Gallery has organised a Guruvandana and book release programme at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Kannada Vikasa Shikshana Samsthe premises, behind Suyog Hospital at Ramakrishnanagar at 5.30 pm on Dec.18. The programme has been organised in association with Sri Rajeshwari Vastralankara Rangatanda, Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota and Kadamba Rangavedike.

Noted Danseuse Dr. Jamunarani V. Mirle and team will present a dance performance as a tribute (Nritya Namana).

Also, renowned danseuse Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, Director of the city’s Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre, will release the book  titled ‘Naa Kandante Nanna Guru’ authored by Dr. Jamunarani V. Mirle on the occasion. Noted writer and orator Prof. A.V. Suryanarayanasamy will be the guest of honour. Noted painter and sculptor  L.
