Nanjangud: A 35-year-old gym trainer, said to be depressed in life, committed suicide by hanging self at his house in Siddegowda Layout, Nanjangud town yesterday.

The deceased is Shabarish Kumar, a trainer at Vajradehi Gym in Nanjangud and his body was found hanging in his house yesterday afternoon.

In a complaint to Nanjangud Town Police, Shabarish’s wife Megha has stated that no one was responsible for her husband’s death.

Town Police, who visited the house, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to Nanjangud General Hospital, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.

The body of Shabarish was taken in a procession and the last rites were performed at his native place Kalale yesterday evening.
