May 4, 2023

Bannur/Ramanagar: JD(S) Supremo and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda has appealed the electorate of T. Narasipur to vote for JD(S) candidate M. Ashwin Kumar and thus enable JD(S) Legislature party leader H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) to become the Chief Minister again.

Addressing the JD(S) poll rally at Bannur town in T. Narasipur taluk yesterday, Deve Gowda said that MLA Ashiwn Kumar is a disciplined soldier of the party and the people of the Constituency should re-elect him for more development.

Maintaining that Ashwin Kumar is honest and humble, Deve Gowda highlighted the role of Ashwin Kumar in fighting for the cause of River Cauvery. Lashing out at the BJP and the Congress, the former PM appealed the people to bring JD(S) Government to power in the State for a clean and able administration.

There is no other CM like HDK: Earlier addressing a JD(S) poll rally at Channapatna, where former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy is contesting, Deve Gowda asserted that there is no other Chief Minister in the country like HDK.

Maintaining that HDK is the first and only political leader to announce that he would provide pension for farmers, Deve Gowda also said that HDK is a leader who always keeps his words.

Pointing out that HDK had waived off farm loans to the tune of thousands of crores of rupees, he challenged BJP and Congress leaders for a debate on the rule of Congress, BJP and JD(S).
