H.M. Jayamma (78), wife of Dr. B. Mallappa and a resident of 6th Main, 7th Cross, Saraswathipuram, passed away following a heart attack in city yesterday.

She leaves behind her children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Hosahalli, Malavalli taluk of Mandya district yesterday, according to family sources.

Faheema Banu (85), a resident of 2nd Eidgah, Mandi Mohalla, passed away following a heart attack yesterday in city.

She leaves behind three daughters, two sons including auditor Javeed Pasha Ashrafi, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was performed today after Friday prayers (2 pm) at Eidgah Masjid on Mission Hospital Road in Mandi Mohalla followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle, according to family sources.
