Mysuru: Maintaining that hard work, coupled with dedication and determination was crucial for success in civil services and other competitive exams, SP C.B. Ryshyath has said constant studies too matter the most.

He was speaking as the chief guest on the second day of the 10-day workshop in competitive exams organised by Jnanabuthi at Lakshmipuram Government High School and PU College premises here yesterday.

Pointing that the determination to achieve set goals among the aspirants is vital, Ryshyanth said that the first priority should be to acquire knowledge from all accessible sources.

Noting that a thorough understanding of a subject is key, he highlighted the importance of time and organised studies in preparing for   competitive exams.

Underlining the need for going through previous question papers, he said that the aspirants must get themselves updated on current affairs and general knowledge.
