Hardware shop burgled in city

Mysuru: Miscreants, who targeted a hardware shop on the Ring Road near Narayana Hospital on Aug.7 night, have decamped with cash kept in the drawer of the shop.

Burglars, who gained entry into Jai Hind Hardware shop by opening the rolling shutter of the shop forcibly and breaking the glass door inside the shop, managed to decamp with Rs.15,000 cash kept in the drawer.

The incident came to light when Syed, owner of the shop, came to open the shop the next day and found the shutter forcibly opened. He immediately informed the Mysuru South Rural Police.

Sub-Inspector Jayaprakash and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, summoned fingerprint experts to the spot and have registered a case.
