Pt. Taranath Foundation has organised Hindustani vocal jugalbandi by Naushad Harlapura and Nishad Harlapura at Meenakshi (residence of M.L. Krishnaswami), 12/A, 1st Main Road, 4th Stage, T.K. Layout (near Kamakshi Hospital) on Mar. 26 at 10 am. The artistes will be accompanied by H. Mruthyunjaya on Harmonium and Bheemashankara Bidanoor on Tabla.

The Harlapura brothers Naushad and Nishad, born to Pt. Humayun Harlapura, hail from Shivamogga and belong to Gwalior Gharana. They are graded artistes of AIR. Naushad is currently pursuing his final year M. Music. He has secured a rank in B. Music, Junior, Senior and Vidwat examinations. Apart from this, he has won many awards in several competitions.
