Head Constable dies in hospital

Mysuru:  A Head Constable attached to Vijayanagar Police Station in city who was admitted to a Hospital after he collapsed while on duty near Hinkal, passed away at the Hospital last morning after failing to respond to the treatment.

The deceased is M. Guruswamy, a native of Hullenahalli village, Bilikere hobli in Hunsur taluk. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

On Sept. 20, Guruswamy was on duty near Hinkal, when he collapsed. He was rushed to Narayana Hospital on the Ring Road where he was undergoing treatment since then. But yesterday at about 2.30 am, Guruswamy breathed his last.
