Head Constable Madhavan Jetti passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: R. Madhavan Jetti (59), a Police Head Constable, who was serving in the City Special Branch (CSB) attached to the Mysuru Police Commissionerate, passed away here yesterday morning following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife Sujatha, sons Supreeth and Benaka and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were conducted with Police honours at the foot of Chamundi Hill here yesterday evening, according to family sources. Madhavan Jetti had served in Devaraja, Lashkar, Nazarbad and other Police Stations of the city before being posted to the CSB. He was due to retire in three months, it is learnt.
