Mysuru: The Mysore Co-operative Bank held a two-day health and eye check-up camp for its members in the Bank’s Head Office premises at Gandhi Square in city recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the camp, Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies Manoj Kumar said that the Bank, which is functioning as per the principles of co-operation, is entering its 120th year of establishment, which is a rare feat. He lauded the Bank for organising this camp for the benefit if its members.
Bank President J. Yogesh said that more than 500 members availed camp benefits. Pointing out that Specialist Eye, Cancer, Cardiology, ENT doctors took part in the camp and screened the participants, he said that the Bank would organise more such programmes in the future.
Bank Director Paduvarahalli M. Ramakrishna said that the Bank’s 119th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) will take place at Dasara exhibition grounds on Sept.14. He appealed all members to attend the AGM and sign the attendance register, which will help in conserving their voting rights in the Bank’s future elections.
