Hebbal Narayanachar (83), retired employee of the Irrigation Department and a resident of Basavanagudi in Hebbal here, passed away on Friday evening at his residence following brief illness.

A native of Hunduwadi in Mandya district, he leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Kumbarakoppal Burial Grounds here yesterday.
