Hemant Nimbalkar is IGP (Western Range)

Bengaluru: In yet another reshuffle of IPS Officers, the State Government on Monday transferred five senior officers.

M Hemanth Nimbalkar, who was shunted out as Additional Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru East) a few days ago, has been posted as IGP (Western Range) headquartered in Mangaluru. The  Western Range covers Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Chikmagalur district. Nimbalkar replaces P. Harishekaran, who  has been posted as IGP, headquateres, Bengaluru.

The other postings are: P. Ravi, Director (Security and Vigilance), KSRTC, Bengaluru,  Bijay Kumar Singh, IGP, Intelligence and N. Satheesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Bengaluru.
