Heritage Walk to mark World Heritage Day

As part of World Heritage Day celebrations, the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage has organised a Heritage Walk for students and researchers of the Depart-ment of Studies in Ancient History and Archaeology, University of Mysore, on Apr. 18.

The Heritage Walk, which commences from Town Hall at 7 am, will pass through Silver Jubilee Clock Tower, Freemasons Club, Chamaraja Wadiyar X Circle, Palace, Krishnaraja Wadiyar  Circle, Lansdowne Building, Banumaiah’s College, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), Jaganmohan Palace, Sanskrit Pathashala, CADA Office, before culminating at the Office of the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, according to a press release from the Deputy Director, Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage.
