Dr. Aranyakumar to perform at Osho Glimpse

Mysuru: A live concert of Hindustani musical instrument Dilruba and Esraj from world famous artiste Dr. Aranyakumar has been organised at Osho Glimpse, #349, 6th Main, 16th Cross, Gokulam 2nd Stage, on Nov.24 from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Entry is free.

Artiste’s profile: Dr. Aranyakumar has completed a Ph.D research titled ‘Treatment of compositions in different traditions of Sitar and Sarod’ and has been awarded with the Doctoral Degree from Karnatak University of Dharwad. Initially he holds a Master’s Degree in instrumental music — Sitar, with First Rank from the same University.

A committed teacher of music, he is teaching instrumental music as a Guest Faculty at Karnatak University, Dharwad, since 2003.
