Hinkal-Bogadi-Dattagalli Ring Road needs streetlights

December 12, 2021

Sir,

I am a regular commuter on the Ring Road stretch that connects Hinkal to Bogadi and Dattagalli. Lately, I have noticed that there are no streetlights in the entire stretch and one day, I happened to come from the Mysore Airport side and there are no streetlights on this side as well.

I would like to bring it to the notice that this road is an important route of commute to many and absence of streetlights poses a potential hub for many untoward activities.

On behalf of the commuters, I request the authorities concerned to do the needful at the earliest. One alternative to this frequent replacement can be to install solar streetlights which would function automatically.
