Historian R. Raja Chandra (the son-in-law of late Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar), who formally inaugurated the 65th Heritage Music Festival organised by Sri Prasanna Vidya Ganapathi Mahotsava Charitable Trust (SPVGMC Trust) at 8th Cross Ganesha Pandal in V.V. Mohalla last evening, being felicitated by art patron and Trust President Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy. Also seen are Vid. Ambi Subramaniam, SPVGMC Trust Secretaries C.R. Himamshu and S. Sridhara.

Today the Fest features ‘Deepalakshmi,’ rendering of songs written by Pu.Thi.Na. by Dr. Sunitha Chandrakumar and students of Raghuleela School of Music at 5.30 pm and Hindustani classical vocal music concert by Padma Shri Pt. Venkatesh Kumar, accompanied by Pt. Narendra Nayak on harmonium and Pt. Keshav Joshi on tabla, at 6.45 pm.
