Mysuru: City-based not-for-profit organisation Asha Kirana is organising a two-day ‘HIVe Mysore-ART Update 2018’ conference at Hotel Southern Star on Vinoba Road here on Feb.3 and 4. The theme of the conference is “Treat all, every life counts…”

Nearly 200 scholars, researchers, medical practitioners and officers will attend the fifth annual conference to discuss the road ahead in the field of HIV/AIDS treatment and challenges including socio-economic aspects of the infection.

Dr. Jyoti Dhar, University Hospitals of Leicester, UK, will deliver the Dr. Suniti Solomon Memorial Oration on ‘HIV/AIDS in Women.’

Dr. I.S. Gilada, President, AIDS Society of India, will inaugurate the conference at 12.30 pm. Dr. Manish Bamrotiya, National Consultant-CST, NACO and Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDM-IMD will be present, according to Dr. S.N. Mothi, Organising Chairman, in a press release.
