Home Minister’s house converted into Covid Care Centre

Bengaluru: In order to help Covid-19 patients, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s residence at Shiggavi, in his home District Haveri, was converted into Covid Care Centre (CCC) which will house 50 patients.

Bommai, who represents the Shiggavi Assembly Constituency, appointed Doctors and para-medical staff to take care of the patients, according to his Office sources. It was also said that the Minister wanted to have Oxygen Concentrators at the facility and thereby come to the rescue of patients with breathing problems. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi extended his support with a 50-bed CCC at Athani in Belagavi district on his personal donation of Rs. 50 lakh and the same has been housed at Kittur Rani Channamma Hostel.
