Hon. Wildlife Warden calls on Kodagu elephant attack victim

Mysuru: K.C. Biddappa, President, Coorg Wildlife Society (CWS) and Hon. Wildlife Warden of Kodagu District, visited Apollo BGS Hospital in city recently, to enquire about the health condition  of Kavitha, a victim of an elephant attack in Valnur village, Kodagu.

She had suffered multiple injuries and has recovered. 

Biddappa, who spoke to the duty doctors and enquired about the treatment, also made a personal contribution of Rs. 5,000 to Kavitha,  who has now been discharged, to meet her immediate needs. 

Speaking to SOM, he said that a report will be sent to PCCF (Wildlife), Bengaluru, in his capacity as Hon. Wildlife Warden.
