Honest auto driver returns passenger’s laptop

June 4, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: An autorickshaw driver has displayed honesty by returning the laptop left behind by a passenger on Sunday.

Suresh, a resident of Janata Nagar in the city, is that auto driver, who has come under praise for his good samaritan act.

Kishore Athavar, a resident of Mangaluru, who came to Mysuru by train at around 3.30 am on Sunday, had boarded the auto from the City Railway Station to his friend Dr. A.B. Arun Kumar’s house in CFTRI Layout, Bogadi Second Stage.

However, he had left behind his laptop in the auto itself. Later, he went to the Railway Station in search of the auto, but in vain.   However, surprise was in store for Kishore, as the auto driver Suresh was waiting for him at his friend Dr. Kumar’s place to return the laptop.

Kishore, who collected the laptop from Suresh, also thanked him for his honesty and humble behaviour.
