Mysuru: An honest woman housekeeper of a Convention Hall in city has won the hearts of public by sincerely returning a lost gold bracelet which she found lying on floor while cleaning the hall after a marriage function recently.

The epitome of honesty is Rajamma, a resident of Devaraja Urs Colony in Vidyaranyapuram here, employed as a house-keeper at Rahul Convention Hall in JP Nagar here.

While a marriage function was going on recently at the Convention Hall, the bridegroom was said to have lost his gold bracelet during the marriage rituals which he realised after quite sometime.

The family members of the bridegroom informed the Convention Hall Proprietor S. Murthy and they made an elaborate search but to no avail. The marriage party left disappointed.

When Rajamma was cleaning the hall later, she found a glittering object at a corner. She picked it up and learnt that it was the lost gold bracelet.

She promptly handed over the jewel to Murthy who in turn informed the family of the bridegroom.

The bracelet was handed over to the bridegroom’s family and Murthy commended the honesty of Rajamma and rewarded her too.
