Horticultural Trainers stage protest in city

Mysuru: Demanding fulfilment of their long-standing demands, about 40 Horticulture Trainers took out a protest rally in city this morning from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple to the DC’s office.

The rally, which commenced from Temple, passed through Dufferin Clock Tower, D.D. Urs Road, JLB Road, Hunsur Road and culminated at the DC’s office where they staged dharna.

The protesters also submitted a memorandum containing their charter of demands at the  DC’s office.

The demands include appointing them as Horticulture Teachers at Educational Institutions & Residential Schools and filling up the vacant gardeners and Horticulture Assistant posts in Horticulture Department.
