Mysore/Mysuru: Horticulture Department and District Horti-cultural Association celebrated ‘Horticulture Day‘ recently in memory of M.H.Marigowda on his birth anniversary (Aug.8). Zilla Panchayat CEO A.M.Yogesh inaugurated the programme. On the occasion, saplings were distributed to Art and Craft teachers of various schools, who participated in the event. Also awareness was created on Nutritious Home Garden Campaign among the teachers.  Ex-Director of Horticulture Department Dr. Hanumaiah, Dean of College of Horticulture, Mysuru, Dr. Janardhan and other officials of ZP were present.
